Seinfeld

Overall, Seinfeld did not ridicule any religion more than another, or more than any other aspect of society; everything was ridiculed equally - therefore no discrimination.

When they did satirize religion, there was no ill intent; they did not single any one religion out. As well, they did not do this from lack of belief – for example, they ridiculed Judaism even though many of the creators were Jewish, including the main actor (Jerry Seinfeld).

While they did poke fun at religions, it was not over and above any other jokes such as marriage, death, or having children.

Some scholars even go as far as to say that the characters within Seinfeld practice a religion of individualism , that is that they put their own personal needs above all else.

In fact, the finale of the show sums up all of the negative things that the main cast had accomplished over the 8 seasons, and are sent to jail for not helping others.
